Still Working Hard
I have been working so hard you just can't imagine - I'm even too tired to ask mom to help with my blog - I have what you call a conundrum - I don't want to stay home by myself, but I also don't want to be dragged around in and out, in and out of the car.....so, what's a little guy to do? Well, I guess that being dragged around and getting in and out of the car is better than staying at home. Everywhere I go people just think I'm so cute....of course, I am so cute so I don't know why that surprises me! BOL
This is me at the end of the day - all tuckered out!!!!
One day last week we were at a vet's office bringing them lunch - now let me tell you that it was a bizzar day. We went into the back and there was a little doggie lying on the table getting his teeth cleaned - he was knocked out and it was kinda gross - I didn't like it at all - and you can just imagine how mommy felt. We could also see them in the surgery suite operating on another doggie - I thought mommie was gonna loose it right then - needless to say she did NOT eat lunch!!!!
When mommy finishes with the vet stuff she is working on the revitalization stuff - last week there was a lot of stuff going on. She has somehow managed to meet with all the council members individually and she and another lady met with a man interested in purchasing the Alexander Hotel....he's even willing to work with them on their vision - Mom is now working on writing a "white paper" about the effort - so that is taking a lot of time too.
Check this out - I have a new sweater for the football season. GO DAWGS!!!!!
Gotta run now - mom needs to get back to trying to work - I miss all my doggie pals - Take care all of you!!!!!

Vacation Photos
We're back!!!! What fun we had. But a lot happened to all my doggie friends while I was gone....Tank got attacked! Bijou had a playdate with a boy dog! Phantom had surgery!!!! Oh my !!!!
It has been determined I am definitely a beach dog. That is where I belong....I don't belong in the suburbs - I belong on the beach!!!!!

We left on Thursday and went to Marietta GA - which is where my daddy's family is from. both sides of his family were original Georgia settlers. They were involved in the original settling of Cobb County - Every year they have something called "Camp Meeting" This was the 173rd year for the camp meeting....if you want to know more about it you can go to their website - MARIETTA CAMP MEETING - We stayed in the "tent" - which is really more of a cabin. They are pretty rustic - although they have been upgraded to have electricity, running water and a bathroom. There is however, no wi-fi connection or airconditioning. Fortunately it was in the 60's at night [most unusual] so we were comfortable at night.

I was the ONLY doggie there!!!! I even went to the church service - that is until I saw a squirrel and tried to break loose - so mommy and I went to the "tent" and sat out the service. Daddy's nephew is getting married in the arbor on August 15 - it will probably be hot as H.E. double LL - I am going to stay with Susanne that week-end. And I'm glad for that because it becomes a little tiresome having to be on the leash constantly!
Oh yeah - I forgot - check out this black squirrel -
