  3. Our momma sheds tears with the rest of the blogging community on the loss of such a dear, sweet soul. If there is any lesson to be learned from the Luke's life, and rescue, is that it is a GOOD THING to take a senior rescue into your home and life because the rewards and the love received is priceless.

Rest with the angels, the Luke, until we meet again...

  7. Great thoughts Checkers!

I feel badly in that Luke kept trying to khoax us to Texas whilst we were on the trek to The Tundra -

He'd write about swinging by - wasn't that far - and then would follow it with

    I'm just sayin'

  9. Oh Checkers and Aunt Kate... What a beautiful tribute to my sweet brother, The Luke! And we can't thank you enough...

The mom still cries a little every day, and she and I are just now, some five months later, brave enough to read the blogs again.

Just the way the Mom is, we had to retreat into a bit of a hermitage... but even then, we felt your love, thoughts and prayers. The Luke always knew he could count on your support, and that was a huge source of comfort.

Life doesn't always turn out like we hope... but hopefully, Heaven will!

with MUCH love from the very teary Bleu, his the Mom and The Angel Luke reading over our shoulders!
