Secret City Festival - aka Hot as HE double L

We went to the Secret City Festival today - it was about one thousand degress with humidity to match - I met this crazy little Jack Russel/Rat Terrier Mix - he was very cute - but NUTS

I had to back away from him so he would chill out - where he found the energy in this heat is totally beyond me

We didn't stay long it was just too darn hot - it was so hot that if there wasn't grass daddy carried me because he didn't want me to put my little paws on the steaming pavement!

finally - home in the cool with mommy - mom said don't get used to pics of her - this is the last one - you can see Livy's Lemonade sign behind her - it's even too hot to sell lemonade -

tomorrow they're going to lavendar festival - I think I'm staying home!

About a week ago I got this award from my friend DISPATCH but mom was heading out of town and couldn't help me put it up - then today I got it again from that sassy little SASHA - so I told mom - you gotta stop and let the doggies know..........

The way I understand it this award is for those who make lemonade when life hands them lemons, this is quitie appropriate for us as we have been making a lot of lemonade around here - both litterally and figuratively - and we thank you for this award!

A Trip to Home Depot then Melton Lake

Today we took a trip to the Home Depot - there was a storm while mom and dad were in Seattle and it blew the tent off the deck - so Daddy had repairs to do

Here you can see my new custom designed Halter - isn't it pretty? Yep - I've tried to chew it off so I can only wear it when I need it - or else - well, you know...it will be chewed up - if you are interested in getting on mom got it from THE COOL PUPPY the lady is really nice and will customize it for you!
