We'll try to post some video later - Today was totally pawsome - I am definitely a BEACH DOG - I love every single minute of being here - I haven't met a stranger yet - This morning daddy found a BIG crab - I chased it - daddy had to stop me before I got snapped - sorry, he didn't have a camera - there aren't many pics today because the old blonde forgot to charge the battery - Livy met a friend and had a lot of fun - there is some video we'll try to get up later - mom has to fix dinner now.

Our First Day At Daufuskie

My New Carrying Bag
Mom found this shop on ETSY [mom's favorite shopping site] - and had the lady make me this bag for carrying me around in. What do you think? We tried it out last night in a store - and it is the perfect camouflage spot for me....mom said she thinks she can even take me to the grocery store in this!!!!! The shop is SIESTA DOG - she has a number of really pawsome things - so check it out. You'll hear from her husband, Mike, if you convo with them - but the artist's name is Karen. They are both super, super nice and helpful. Karen sent mom fabric samples but, well, you know mom, she had to do something special so she bought her own fabric then left it up to Karen to coordinate it with accent fabrics. Didn't Karen do a wonderful job? She even put a little padded bottom in so that I will be comfy.

CHANGE IN BEACH PLANS
Well - we've had some changes to our schedule thanks to the ex-daughter-in-law.... She informed us that she has enrolled Livy in a year round school that starts on July 16 - which was right in the middle of our beach week...this meant that Livy would have had only 1 full day at the beach!!!!! This morning mom was scrambling to make changes and thankfully the rental company was very helpful. We are now going on Thursday - well, actually, mom and dad and I are leaving on Wednesday and Livy will be there Thursday nighth or early Friday morning with her dad....pooh - we wish he were staying home but we'll deal with him!!!!
Mom thinks she has everything taken care of - Ferry Reservations, Golf Cart Rental, someone to pick up our bags....a plan for grocery shopping, beach chairs packed, sunblock, hats, glasses, portable I-pod docks, ipods -- yep I think she has it all........hope there is room for me!
