I'm standing at the door - I've got my swimming suit on - I'm ready to go! Are we ever going to actually leave and go to the beach?
mom says - be patient - 2 more weeks - I don't believe her - I think she just bought these trunks to make me look silly.

I think the wading pool is a great idea - how else will you know if the trunks work if you don't test 'em first? I'd lobby really hard for a pool!

Checkers you look so nice in your suit. I don't think you look silly at all. I hope you go soon. Did your Mom put your picture in the stick out your tongue contest? It is fun to stick out your tongue when you are a dog. We saw a story on tv in Michigan today about a couple who got their car stolen and their doggy was in it. Well the bad men took the doggy to a pawn shop and left him there. The police gave him back to his Mom and Dad and he looked just like you! My Mom will try to find a picture to show you. The doggy is ok and I hope you and your Mom are too.

Checkers Dispatch says to tell you that he might be @ the beach in one week but he's seen no evidence of any swimming trunks (thank goodness), he thinks he will be forced to (wade) swim au natural again?
