Happy Memorial Day

Yesterday I got to go with Mom and Dad when they went to Target to buy a new coffee pot. Mom put me in the basket and we went through the door NOT on the food side - no one said anything and I rode around like the champ I am - there are no photos as mom didn't want to draw attention to me being there. Mom also got a clock thingy for her Iphone to charge in...then she got home and couldn't figure out how to get it to work - BOL - remember, old, blond, southern!!! BOL - finally she figured out it wouldn't work with the pink cover on it so she took the cover off and it works fine.
Then we went to Pet Smart - look what I got
A chill bone - it's in the freezer now - so I don't know if I like it or not - but it says it's good for my teeth - and mom constantly worries about my teeth! I don't know why I have perfectly fine pearly whites......
I also got this frisbee for the beach - it apparently floats - so, I guess it will go to China when the tide carries it out. Do they not understand that is a BIG dog on the cover - I'm a little dog and I cannot catch this frisbee! Geeeeez....what were they thinking?
Then I got this shirt - I'm so excited that I'm going to the beach - Livy got 2 new bikinis - the kid loves bikinis! We're not going till July so I don't know what the hurry is, but mom likes to plan ahead.....drives daddy nuts...
then we went to Panera Bread for lunch - we ate on the patio - mom put out my little blanket that she carries around for me to sit on in the shopping carts and I just chilled out - mom did give me some of her chicken so I was happy - unfortunatley you can't see my cute little Red, White & Blue outfit - but there are more pics on the camera that we will try to download later - this is stuff from her phone.

Now let me tell you about Dawg Mom Angie - I think some of you know my friends Feather, Darla & Pappy over at KIDS IN DOG SUITS and their Dawg Mom, Angie - well, did you also know that Dawg Mom Angie is quite the artist with stained glass? She created all of these below as trophies for a dog show - now, don't ask my why they have Iris' on them and not dogs, but they're still pretty - Anyway, Angie is now taking orders for custom stained glass work....so you might give her a shout if you need a pretty vase, or a lamp, or a window or whatever - I just bet she can make whatever you want! She is also going to exchange the shirts you sent us as they are too large. I told her to get ones exactly like you sent, she said she'd try her best. Since there are two wallyworlds where she is going, she might have success. BOL

How lucky for you to make a sneak appearance at Target - did you see any good bargains? And then a trip to the pet store AND to Panera - one lucky pup you are. Love all your purchases, especially that shirt - you will look fab at the beach.

ReplyDeleteDispatch used to go in almost everywhere I went, except like target etc. I work in a store like target and people sneak their dogs in in bags and nobody says a word. Dispatch also thought the auto parts stores were the vets and didn't like them for some reason?
ReplyDeleteBeach sounds exciting, soon we will get to go, well the end of the summer but Dispatch HATES the beach, pesky waves that come and get him and then mommy gets in the water, bah humbug. LOL

Checkers... You are too cool. Bell and I saw a doggie that made us think of you this week end. He kept taking our ball and before I knew it.. I was playing w/that dog and not Bell :) we all had fun either way! Go lookie all the pix from this week end. Fun ones from Saturday and that surfing doggy is still the most fun!
